Episode 4: Emotional Self Regulation & Your Health


This is not a subject that people really love to talk about – so I am going to talk about it.


It is outside of my own comfort zone as ’emotions’ where seen as ‘bad’ and ‘taboo’ when I was growing up and it’s been life long journey to re-create a healthy relationship with my own emotions.


In fact, having a healthy well regulated emotional state is really a major part of optimal health.


In this podcast – I introduce this topic and really the outcome for you is to assess whether you have ‘walls’ up or whether you ‘react’ both are not healthy ways of regulating our emotions.


How we manage our emotions, means how well we know ourselves and therefore it will determine our choices and ultimately the health (mental, emotional and physical) results we experience.
